Behavior Intervention Specialist

Chattanooga Preparatory School seeks a skilled Behavior Interventionist to provide training and technical assistance to teachers and staff on instructional strategies, educational planning, and behavior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop behavioral intervention strategies that support academic achievement.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide written documentation to teachers and administrators.
- Train and monitor teachers and paraprofessionals in appropriate behavioral strategies and data collection.
- Model and provide training on effective classroom management and strategies to improve behavior.
- Support the RTI/MTSS process in schools.
- Provide technical assistance and develop/monitor appropriate behavioral plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field is required. Minimum one year of social work, school psychology, counseling, or closely related experience is required.
