Job Title: Test Conductor L1

At Transdev, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Conductor L1 to join our team. As a Test Conductor L1, you will play a critical role in planning and conducting vehicle tests for 6-8 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and report on test execution and retest performance
  • Maintain Transdev's high standard of safety and situational awareness
  • Operate with safety as the primary goal and ensure test objectives are well defined and achieved
  • Respond quickly to changing and potentially high-pressure environments
  • Work independently and coordinate with engineers, managers, and researchers to create and improve test plans and report results
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience driving on public roads with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in technical testing preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BS/BA degree or 2 years practical experience
  • Ability to parallel park with minimal assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps
  • Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone
  • Good tools knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to type at least 40 WPM
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
  • Required to talk, listen, and hear
  • Frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, hands to finger, handle or feel, and to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, regularly push, pull and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders
Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years old
  • Must have and maintain a driving record that meets California AVT program and/or other applicable regulations and laws
  • Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
