Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team at Advantage Dental. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about patient care and education.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced dental assistant certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for providing chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists, taking and processing X-rays, and educating patients on the importance of their oral health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up
  • Take and process X-rays as prescribed by the dentist
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
  • Educate patients on the importance of their oral health
