About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Planet Fitness. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a welcoming and judgement-free environment in our fitness center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests, assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
  • Help promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance and support in their fitness journeys.
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
  • Perform membership-related functions, such as sign-ups, contact and billing information updates, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances, and transferring memberships.
  • Perform prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs.
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and assigned areas.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free, following the routine cleaning schedule.
  • Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas, quickly fixing any safety or policy issues and addressing cleanliness concerns.
  • Promptly address maintenance and facility concerns, such as broken or missing equipment.
About You

We are looking for a team member who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, has a positive and upbeat attitude, and is willing to become CPR/AED certified. If you are a quick learner, have basic computer proficiency, and are available to work a Monday to Thursday evening shift, we encourage you to apply.
