Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Professional Post-Acute Center.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and dressing wounds
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for each resident
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
  • Document resident progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Valid CPR and BLS certification
  • Ability to use electronic medical records and other healthcare software
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and a high level of patient acuity. The Registered Nurse must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work throughout the nursing areas. The position may also require working beyond scheduled hours and being subject to call-back during emergency conditions.
