We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a hospital in Reston, Virginia. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, and will be responsible for ensuring the proper equipment is sterilized and available, preparing patients for procedures, and providing pre, during, and post-op assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the proper equipment is sterilized and available for surgical procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have.
  • Provide pre, during, and post-op assistance to patients and surgical teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
Requirements:
  • Surgical Tech National Certificate
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 2 years of relevant experience
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rate of $1,530 - $1,695 per week
