Position Overview:
As a Retail Sales Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include product merchandising, inventory management, and providing exceptional service.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Average Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours
Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour
Note: Training will occur at a nearby location until the new store opens.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills consistently.
- Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers throughout their experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow all company policies and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stock products and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to operate a cash register accurately.
- Proficient in using equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of performing cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
