The PeriAnesthesia Care Unit is committed to delivering patient-centered care that optimizes outcomes for diverse patient populations. Our nurses are essential in ensuring a seamless transition through the surgical process, from preoperative preparation to postoperative recovery.
Qualifications- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required within five years of hire.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Certification: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is required post-hire.
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, perform frequent bending and lifting, and manage the physical demands of patient care. Nurses must possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
