Job Opportunity at Northstar Early Learning Center

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher in our 4K program. As a key member of our teaching team, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher in supervising and caring for up to 8 toddlers
  • Contribute to lesson planning and implementation, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging educational experience
  • Perform light cleaning, diapering, feeding, and playing with children
Requirements:
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday
  • CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
  • Health report and negative TB test within 30 days of hire
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • CDA or college credit in education
  • Qualified Assistant Teacher in Wisconsin
