Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our physical facilities, including electrical installations and repairs, to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair physical facilities to ensure efficient operation
  • Install and/or make modifications to buildings and grounds
  • Maintain computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Perform preventive maintenance on light industrial facilities equipment
  • Assist skilled craftsmen with electrical installations and repairs
  • Work with high and low voltage systems
  • Interpret drawings, sketches, and plans to determine best work procedures and tools needed
  • Maintain safety and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
  • Training and experience in basic electrical installation
  • Previous experience with power tools, including grinders, sanders, and drills
  • Effective communication and technical writing skills
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Positive and professional customer service philosophy
  • Analytical thinking required
