Position Overview
As a key member of our fabrication team, your primary responsibilities will include operating and managing fabrication machinery, executing precise cuts, and transitioning between various operational tasks such as press brake, shear, plasma, and waterjet. We welcome candidates who possess experience in at least two of these critical areas, and we are committed to providing training to enhance your skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload fabrication machinery.
- Set up and adjust equipment for different production runs.
- Read and interpret measurements accurately using a tape measure.
- Identify and differentiate various types and thicknesses of sheet metal.
- Safely operate overhead cranes when required to transport materials.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating fabrication equipment.
- Experience with at least two of the following: press brake, shear, plasma, waterjet.
- Ability to read measurements and specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of sheet metal types and thicknesses.
- Capability to utilize overhead cranes safely.

- Strong focus on safety protocols.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts as needed.

Employment Type
This role is classified as a Contract-to-Hire position.
Work Environment
The work setting is a standard fabrication facility, featuring dedicated areas for both fabrication and welding/assembly processes. All paint and blasting activities are conducted in a separate section of the facility. Appropriate work attire, including long sleeves, is recommended, and uniforms will be provided upon confirmation of long-term employment.
