- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for continued progress at home.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education: Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Certification: Certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is a plus.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
