Position Overview
This is a full-time role with working hours from 12 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday.

Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial cleaning.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.

Physical and Special Requirements
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, stretching, reaching, and wrist movements.
  • Must be able to walk extensively throughout the facility during shifts.
  • Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs is necessary.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in emergency situations.
  • Capability to distinguish colors for color-coded cleaning materials.

Safety Equipment
Required to wear steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as necessary. Must be able to manage the demands and stressors associated with the work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Follow established procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
  • Utilize ladders to dust and wash furniture, walls, blinds, and select equipment; clean ceilings and light fixtures.
  • Remove stains from various surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Gather and dispose of trash in designated bins; clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and kitchen appliances.
  • Polish furniture and fixtures; service and maintain restrooms; clean glass surfaces and mirrors.
  • Monitor building security by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliances for safety.
  • Drive vehicles as needed to travel to other facilities for cleaning tasks.
  • Weekend work may be required occasionally.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties including washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
