Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Straus Family Creamery. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of products between our facilities and external vendors.

About the Role:

  • Manage the operation of company vehicles, including scheduling and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  • Monitor and report on vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and driver behavior.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of driving experience or equivalent experience and training.
  • Possess Class A Driver's license, clean driving record, and tankers endorsement.
  • DOT medical certificate and renewal as required per DOT.
  • Ability to read and interpret road signs posted in English.
  • Extensive knowledge of the operations and features of assigned vehicle(s).

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
