Job Summary

Accupac is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the physical unloading, loading, transfer, storage, shipping, and movement of all materials throughout our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and load trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare materials for proper identification, sampling, and warehouse storage.
  • Verify and sign delivery carrier's Bills of Lading.
  • Locate and transfer materials between the warehouse, manufacturing, and production areas.
  • Verify, count, and inventory materials.
  • Accurately report material locations through the effective use of the Bar Code Inventory System.
  • Maintain constant good housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with all cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Accurately complete all Receiving Reports, Trailer Inspection Forms, Inter-company Transfer Sheets, and Finished Goods Audit Lists.
  • Effectively verify and load outbound trailers.
  • Stretch wrap pallets of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Able to operate assigned sit-down or stand-up power forklift and industrial equipment to move and store materials.
  • Possess basic math skills sufficient to count and reconcile materials.
  • Possess the ability to read and interpret instructional signs and warning placards.
  • Possess experience in trailer loading/unloading and truck dock operations.
  • Able to follow instructions, get along well with others, and work in a team environment.
  • Able to be conscientious, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work different shifts, hours, and overtime on short notice.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to sustain a minimum of one hour of strenuous activity.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to waist level.
  • Able to carry a container weighing up to lbs. up a flight of stairs.
  • Able to move containers physically 'off of' and 'on to' pallets.
  • Possess peripheral and color vision.
  • Able to work different scheduled hours/shifts/days and overtime to meet the manufacturing schedule.
  • Able to stand/walk on cement floors for 10-40% of the workday.
  • Able to sit 41-75% of workday.
  • Able to bend/stoop 41-75% of workday.
