Scope of WorkAs a RN in our Progressive Care Renal Unit, you'll utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles. You'll work under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures, and recognize the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes. You'll partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the health record.

- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
- Specialty certification is highly recommended within 2 years.
