Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive wound care services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular patient assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal wound healing and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care research, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to provide the highest level of care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia or compact state and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current national certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses' Credentialing Center, or other credentialing center recognized by the board required.
- Current Authorization to Prescribe by the State of Virginia required.
- Current Controlled Substance Registration required.
