Role Overview: As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our organization. You will be the foundation of our customer relationships, often referred to as Service Professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely administer pesticides in accordance with company protocols, label guidelines, and relevant laws.
- Accurately document services performed in line with company standards and legal requirements.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly, ensuring they are well-maintained.
- Travel to customer locations using a company vehicle.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with both customers and team members.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their services, including updates and scheduling.
- Respond promptly to requests from customers and the office.
- Assist in sales initiatives by ensuring customers receive comprehensive Pest Control and Animal Management services.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrates a high level of accountability and responsibility.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- No prior experience necessary; however, sales experience is advantageous.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
- Must successfully pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
- Ability to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
- Capability to handle stinging or biting pests.
- Proficient in reading and writing clear notes.
- Ability to lift equipment, including a backpack, weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must complete the state pesticide applicator licensing process successfully.
- Competent in handling, mixing, and applying pesticides and associated chemicals.
