About the Job


Rochester General Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team in Rochester, NY. This 13-week contract position will provide care to patients on the Med Surg floor with telemetry monitoring.


Job Summary


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Professional to fill this vital role. As a Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide direct patient care to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify needs, and coordinate care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements


To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:



  • Current RN licensure in New York State
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar setting
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
