Master Craftsman

Premier Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures, fixtures, and buildings. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in layout, installation, and repair. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, and installation.
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures.
• Assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Operate tools, machines, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Comply with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 4 years experience as a journey-level carpenter.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
• Knowledge of mathematics.
