Civil Construction Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Drafter to join our team at The Contractor Consultants. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and plans for various civil construction projects.

• Prepare high-quality civil construction drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop detailed technical designs.
• Interpret and apply project specifications, site plans, and surveys to create detailed drawings.
• Assist in preparing layouts for site development, grading, drainage, utility design, and other civil engineering aspects.
• Perform revisions and updates to existing drawings based on feedback from engineers and project leads.
• Ensure all drawings meet company and regulatory standards and specifications.
• Conduct occasional local site visits to gather data and verify design requirements.
• Maintain organized records of all drafting files and revisions.
• Assist in project documentation, including reports and technical specifications as needed.

• 3+ years of experience in civil drafting, with a strong focus on infrastructure, grading, and utility design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering plans, surveys, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Must be willing to conduct occasional site visits.
