Clinical Dietitian

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team, covering two senior living communities in Alton and Edwardsville, IL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional nutritional services to the elderly.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $65,000.00 to $80,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform medical nutrition therapy assessments on residents to address acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans to improve outcomes and quality of life.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary manager, speech language pathologist, physicians, and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality nutritional therapy.
• Monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis, and wounds.
• Participate in resident review meetings to address high-risk residents.
• Conduct patient nutrition assessments on a population of varying levels of acuity patients.
• Manage the development and implementation of nutrition intervention plans in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.
• Provide nutrition counseling for individuals, taking into consideration adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needs.
• Utilize assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations, as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.
• Provide education that ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
• Document patient nutrition care plans in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in Dietetics or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Illinois state licensure as a Dietitian.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare and MDS process is a plus.
