About the Role:This CT Technologist role involves working as part of a dynamic diagnostic imaging team, responsible for performing a range of tasks including operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records. As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will be expected to provide exceptional patient care, adhere to strict safety protocols, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of CT scanning principles and practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly between departments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
