Position Overview:
The role of a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT and X-Ray is vital in performing medical imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician. Key responsibilities include:
  • Confirming patient identity and verifying orders accurately.
  • Preparing patients adequately for imaging procedures.
  • Being attentive to the needs of patients throughout the examination process.
  • Communicating procedures clearly to patients and their families to enhance cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
  • Addressing any concerns raised by patients.
  • Generating high-quality images during radiologic examinations to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
  • Adhering to established protocols, positioning patients appropriately, utilizing equipment efficiently, and following radiation safety guidelines.
  • Employing sterile techniques for any invasive procedures.
  • Identifying and responding promptly to urgent patient situations.
  • Completing all required documentation with accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Coordinating patient care and sharing pertinent information with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff alike.
  • Organizing and storing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner.
  • Engaging in educational and professional development opportunities, particularly regarding new techniques and equipment.
  • Providing assistance and guidance to students and fellow Radiology Technologists on examination protocols and equipment when necessary.
This position includes a sign-on bonus of $5,000, with an additional $2,500 bonus for those working graveyard shifts, totaling $7,500.

Shift Information:
CT/X-Ray Dual Role
Graveyard shift
7 on - 7 off, 10-hour shifts

Minimum Qualifications:
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers.
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform MA functions as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IV certification.
Physical Requirements:
Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
