HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a registered Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. We are committed to your professional growth and development within our expanding network of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather patient medical history prior to examinations. (10%)

• Accurately interpret written scanning directives from physicians. (10%)

• Clearly explain procedures to patients to alleviate concerns and ensure cooperation for diagnostic imaging. (10%)

• Position patients and utilize immobilization tools to capture optimal images of designated body areas. (10%)

• Set technical parameters, operate X-ray machinery, and monitor image data on screens. (30%)

• Assess X-ray images for quality and determine the necessity for retakes. (10%)

• Assist radiologists with specialized imaging procedures. (10%)

• Support other imaging modalities as required. (10%)

Additional Responsibilities

• Replenish medical supplies as needed.

• Regularly sanitize waiting and procedure areas.

Management Responsibilities

This position does not include management of other staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.

• BLS certification required.

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

Experience

• Previous experience with medical terminology is preferred (1 year).

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and radiological procedures is preferred.

• Proficiency in venipuncture.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. from ground to waist height.

Work Schedule

• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
