Rail Laborer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rail Laborer to join our team at Marmon Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to rail track maintenance, including driving spikes, moving and setting cross ties, adjusting switches, and lubricating switches.

• Drive spikes to secure track in place
• Maintain and repair rail tracks, including moving and setting cross ties
• Adjust switches to ensure smooth rail traffic
• Lubricate switches to prevent wear and tear
• Tighten track bolts to ensure secure track alignment
• Check track gauge to ensure proper alignment
• Check cross level to ensure track is properly aligned
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Military experience a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation

This role requires moderate to heavy physical effort, including lifting and carrying equipment. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow prescribed safety rules to avoid injury.
