Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Contracting Specialist to join our team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. This role will involve providing specialized expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex administrative duties related to physician contracting, including composing correspondence and coordinating resources across corporate functions.
  • Interact with directors of physician services and practice managers to gather information to complete employment or recruitment agreements.
  • Understand complex compensation models that conform to Stark regulations.
  • Utilize multiple software platforms, including Word, Excel, TCM, and PAWS.
  • Prepare employment, physician service agreements (PSAs), and recruitment agreements, and send them to potential physician candidates.
  • Interact with the corporate legal department.
  • Track employment agreements through the routing system until all reviews have been completed.
  • Handle various administrative details with initiative and good judgment.
  • Assist other staff as requested.
  • Attend meetings as assigned and report on actions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Perform related work as required.
