Radiology Imaging Specialist

As a Radiology Tech at Frye Regional Medical Center, you will perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice, monitoring patient condition and reporting/responding to changes in status as appropriate.
- Prepare equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, and implementing safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results and identifying issues with image quality, taking action to resolve issues and entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.

Requirements:
- Associate's degree required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
