SUMMARY:


The primary role of the Sales Associate is to effectively sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise while adhering to the company's customer service standards.

This includes welcoming customers upon their arrival, assisting them in locating specific items or demonstrating product usage, and processing transactions at the point of sale.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engages with customers in a polite and friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles). Maximizes sales opportunities in line with Perry Ellis customer service standards.

Cultivates a loyal customer base through proficient data collection for the loyalty program. Maintains a thorough understanding of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Consistently creates a positive shopping experience by treating all customers and colleagues with fairness and respect.
Maintains effective floor coverage; acknowledges every customer; prioritizes customer needs over assigned tasks.

Remains productive throughout the shift (e.g., utilizes downtime to restock merchandise, uphold visual displays, engage with customers, etc.). Punctually reports for shifts.

Exhibits flexibility with scheduling.
Understands personal and store sales objectives. Adheres to all operational policies and procedures.
Follows management's guidance to implement visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Enthusiastic and positive demeanor. Previous retail experience is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service abilities.
Customer-focused (approachable, friendly, and personable with a positive outlook)
