Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at BridgePoint Healthcare. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services to patients in accordance with physician orders and department policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cardiopulmonary care services to patients in accordance with physician orders and department policies.
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program with a minimum level of Associate Degree in Respiratory - RT.
  • Current credentials as a Respiratory Care Practitioner - RT in accordance with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current Respiratory (RT or CRT) License from the District of Columbia.
  • BLS and ACLS required.
  • 1 year of RT - respiratory care experience as a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.
