Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Services Program Manager

Job Summary:

Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Services Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our behavioral health program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of clinicians, ensuring quality of care, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight to a team of clinicians, including psychologists, therapists, and other related positions.
  • Direct day-to-day operations of the clinical services programs, including scheduling, staff management, and productivity monitoring.
  • Ensure documentation quality and compliance with behavioral health codes and funding sources.
  • Responsible for overall productivity of the clinical services programs and staff, and for motivating individual staff performance to meet program goals and objectives.
  • Recommend changes to improve service delivery and implement new programming.
  • Collaborate with professional peers to coordinate service delivery throughout the agency.
  • Forecast budget requirements and monitor expenditures, identifying new sources for products and services.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge base of clinical care standards in the treatment of adults, children, and families.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations affecting behavioral health services, including WAC, RCWs, and King County policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively under pressure, balancing competing demands and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software, as well as experience with Electronic Records Management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, solid communication, collaboration, and intervention skills.
  • Able to work successfully in a multi-cultural/multi-ethnic environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or Ph.D. in psychology from an accredited College or University.
  • State of Michigan Licensed Master Social Worker or fully Licensed Psychologist.
  • 3-5 years' experience in behavioral health, with 5 years of supervisory experience and 5 years' experience in CMH (preferred).

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require travel between Detroit and Westland Integrated Clinic locations.
  • Consistent physical contact with consumers/patients.
  • Works in a clinical setting, using a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed.
  • The noise level in the work environment is variable, due to frequent contact with consumers.
