Sanitation Specialist

Cleanliness and Sanitizing Expertise

As a Cleaning and Sanitizing Team Member at JBS USA, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our production areas. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Complete mandatory safety training and food safety/GMP training as outlined by the company
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways, with minimal supervision
• Work in extreme temperatures and with exposure to moving machinery, hot water, and slippery floors
• Maintain a good attendance record and adhere to company safety policies

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and/or crawl for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion work

Working Conditions:

• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise
