Position Overview:
As a Hospice STNA, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, participating in collaborative meetings, documenting patient care, and observing responses during direct nursing interactions with patients and their families during their final stages of life.
Role Significance:
Your empathetic approach as an STNA is crucial for fostering communication, as you build close relationships with patients and their families during this profound end-of-life journey.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires travel to various locations to provide care.

Qualifications for STNA:
- Completion of an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum of 75 hours of certification.
- Active, unrestricted nurse aide certification from the state.
- A minimum of one year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required.
- Experience in Hospice or Home Health Agencies is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to learn and utilize clinical software and electronic health records.
Transportation Requirements:
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance are necessary.
