Lead Pastry Chef

Position: Lead Pastry Chef for Porter's Orchards Farm Market

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, glaze, and package our exquisite cider donuts while supervising a dedicated team during peak seasons.
• Craft additional baked goods available for sale in the market as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen after each shift, including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and performing machinery upkeep.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with management to compile necessary supply lists for smooth operations.
• Engage with customers to take and fulfill their orders.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in baking or kitchen environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Positive demeanor and innovative mindset.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to the community.
