The Goddard School of Waxhaw, NC is seeking a qualified Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team. As an experienced educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment for children to develop into confident learners.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and present educational activities for children aged six weeks to six years old
  • Develop weekly lesson plans in collaboration with our Curriculum Coordinator
  • Communicate effectively with parents through daily updates and mobile apps
  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a lead teaching role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a childcare discount.
