Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

This is a full-time, night shift position that requires the ability to operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to position patients for imaging exams, and ensure their safety during procedures.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's Degree in radiological technology and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R). A license to practice as a radiologic technologist in Oregon is also required.

We offer a competitive salary of $48.97/hour, plus a night shift differential of $4.18/hour. Our comprehensive benefits package includes continuing education opportunities, bereavement leave, medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 403b retirement plan and employee assistance programs.

Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts.
  • Position patients for imaging exams and ensure their safety during procedures.
  • Verify exams on PACS and report important information to physicians.
  • Administer targeted doses of radiation to patients to treat cancer or other diseases.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology.
  • ARRT-R certification.
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred).
