We are seeking a dedicated Adult Psychiatrist to become a vital part of our esteemed outpatient behavioral health team. This role is located within an hour's drive from major urban centers, providing a perfect balance of professional and personal life.
Team StructureYou will collaborate with a well-established group of 3 Psychiatrists and approximately 9 Psychotherapists, including Masters Therapists and Psychologists, in a supportive outpatient clinic environment.
Role Responsibilities- Focus on Medication Management: Your primary responsibility will be to manage medication for our diverse adult patient panel.
- Occasional Psychotherapy: While the focus is on medication, you will also address occasional psychotherapy needs.
- Outpatient Practice: This is strictly an outpatient role, ensuring a structured work-life balance.
- Call Schedule: Participate in a 1:5 Friday night call rotation, which involves phone consultations only.
Enjoy a built-in referral base and the flexibility to focus on niche practices such as Geriatrics or Addiction. This position is also open to J1 Waiver candidates.
Work ScheduleThe typical workweek is Monday through Friday, allowing for a predictable routine.
