We are seeking a skilled Drum Line Technician to join our team at Palmer Logistics. As a Drum Line Technician, you will be responsible for transloading product from railcars into drums, totes, and other containers. You will also operate the drumming station to ensure correct weight and seal containment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transloading product from railcars into drums, totes, and other containers
  • Operating the drumming station to ensure correct weight and seal containment
  • Inspecting equipment daily and cleaning as required
  • Operating a forklift to unload or load totes and drums
  • Reading gauges and connecting/disconnecting hoses via threaded/camlock fittings
  • Using basic hand tools and maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the work area
  • Standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Multitasking and completing tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Working safely and being a team player

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience in a logistics environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions
