Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Perinatal unit, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established standards of care.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed, and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- 1 year of recent experience in a Level III NICU or successful completion of KP Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) course or approved equivalent within the past 12 months.
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Basic Life Support Neonatal Resuscitation Program
