Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OBGYN

About the Role:This full-time position involves performing various ultrasound procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires preparing patients, administering contrast media, and monitoring patient conditions while troubleshooting equipment as necessary.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and educate them on the process.
- Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient conditions and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
- Select exposure factors and imaging parameters to ensure optimal results.
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- One year of experience.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
