Senior Product Line Strategist

The Senior Product Line Strategist is tasked with overseeing a designated product portfolio to align with our strategic growth targets, profitability, and market presence. This role encompasses daily management of the product line while also pinpointing and advocating for innovative product opportunities and line expansions; establishing product positioning, pricing, and profitability frameworks; formulating and executing promotional strategies; and overseeing product lifecycles.
This position requires collaboration across various departments to set and realize business objectives through a clearly defined product strategy. The Senior Product Line Strategist will engage with Sales teams and Customers to gather insights, collaborate with Product Development to innovate new offerings, and partner with Creative and Marketing Teams to devise go-to-market strategies and promotional initiatives.
The ideal candidate will exhibit a combination of business acumen and technical expertise, possessing a comprehensive vision along with the determination and attention to detail necessary to implement that vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and achieve strategic objectives through cross-departmental collaboration
- Maintain product vitality across the portfolio
- Conduct and uphold market and product intelligence
- Drive development projects and product enhancements
Qualifications (minimum acceptable and/or preferred)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred
- 7+ years of experience in product management within a manufacturing environment (B2B experience is essential)
- Familiarity with strategic planning and its implications for the product line
- Proven ability to conduct market analysis and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Capability to thoroughly understand and effectively communicate product technical specifications
- Willingness to be based at our Headquarters or Co-Lab location
- Availability to be onsite 2-3 days per week
