Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Mount Olive, NC. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide direct nursing care to patients, under the guidance of RNs or physicians. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, wound care, and vital signs monitoring, as well as performing comprehensive patient assessments and creating personalized care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Direct Nursing Care: Provide high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Comprehensive Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews to create personalized care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and efficiently.
  • Wound Care: Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while monitoring for infection or complications.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Continuously monitor and document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessary.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Medication Management: Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies.
  • Health Promotion: Foster health and wellness by promoting preventive care measures like vaccinations and screenings.
  • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
Requirements:
  • Valid LPN State License: Possess a valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS Certification: Hold current BLS certification.
