- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Background in critical care nursing.
