Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and procedures to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment and systems.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including compressors, large motors, and other components.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts and supplies.
- Communication: Orally communicate with store personnel regarding the proper use of equipment and procedures.
- Documentation: Properly complete all repair, labor, and parts purchasing documentation in a timely fashion.
- Compliance: Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3-5 years' proven refrigeration/HVAC experience and satisfactory overall performance.
- Certifications: EPA Type 2 Certification.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to use control manufacturers' software, and ability to work a flexible schedule.
The physical demands of this position include standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
