Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospital team in a part-time capacity. As a LPN, you will work closely with our registered nurses and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect patient history and medical information to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records.
  • Develop and implement care plans as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider to meet patient needs.
  • Ensure proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments.
  • Communicate healthcare instructions to patients and families in a clear and concise manner.
  • Respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Practical Nursing; Completion of Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required within 4 years of hire.
  • Current LPN license in North Carolina; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
