Cardiac Catheterization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment to visualize and guide catheter placement within the heart and blood vessels, obtaining high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assist physicians during procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Process angiographic images, ensuring optimal image quality for interpretation by cardiologists, and perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedules as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to patient care.

• Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with current ARRT certification and California Radiologic Technologist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, with advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy equipment and image acquisition systems, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• BLS certification required, with ACLS certification preferred.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
