Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at Insituform Technologies. As a key member of our infrastructure installation team, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install CIPP for various types of sewer lines using specific products and processes
  • Prepare pull-in tubes for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
  • Operate equipment such as winches, backhoes, cranes, or other material handling equipment
  • Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Cure resin products using inflation tubes, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
  • Learn and train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
  • Drive company vehicles to haul crews and equipment
  • Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job sites and shops
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience as a construction laborer and/or installation technician highly preferred
  • OSHA certifications are a plus
  • Valid driver's license required with a clean motor vehicle report
  • Must possess a Class A or B CDL and be aligned with Insituform's motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
  • Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
