Responsibilities:
The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Rheumatology Physician to join our practice. Primary responsibilities include providing patient care in general rheumatology clinics, outpatient procedures, and inpatient consultations.
Providers may be asked to assist with inpatient general internal medicine teaching services at our hospital. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the State of Alabama.
Key Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Alabama
- MD or equivalent degree
- Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and other healthcare providers
- A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning and patient care environment
