Job Description

As an Emergency Department Nurse at Cambridge Health Alliance, you will be responsible for providing quality care to acute patients and their families according to our standards of nursing practice. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care in a professional manner. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current MA RN license. A BSN degree is preferred, and 1-2 years of experience in emergency nursing is highly valued. You will also require American Heart Association (or American Red Cross) certifications for Healthcare Providers BLS, ACLS, and PALS, as well as basic computer EMR proficiency. Finally, all newly hired candidates must successfully complete a job-specific physical agility exam.
