Job Title: Visual Inspector

At ARCXIS, we are seeking a skilled Visual Inspector to join our team. As a Visual Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of new home construction projects.

Job Summary:

The Visual Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections at residential development sites, verifying compliance with building codes and regulations, and ensuring that construction meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections at residential development sites to verify compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Verify that construction meets the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Interface with job superintendents, sub-contractors, city inspectors, and area managers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Complete daily inspection reports and provide feedback to project teams
  • Travel daily to multiple job sites
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of construction experience and/or one (1) year of field experience supported with a degree in a related field of study
  • OSHA 10-Hour Training Course Certification preferred
  • HVAC installation or technical experience preferred
  • Experience in green building programs such as LEED, Build-it-Green, Energy Star would be preferable
  • Solid communication skills and ability to convey direction and leadership while enforcing Code and Energy Code to project superintendents and their trades
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read building plans
